Recognising that there was real
a need for a practical and personal approach to Consulting
Structural Engineering and that there was a client requirement for one
office to be able to deal with masonry, timber, steel and
reinforced concrete, DCS Associates was born.

Our office is set
up to deal with a very large range of work from loft conversions
to multistorey, multi-million pound contracts and we have considerable experience in building defects/insurance claims.
We have a state of
the art analysis and design computer suite of programmes and produce
our drawings on AutoCAD, the leading computer aided drawing system.
Although Local Authorities
do not recommend Consulting Engineers, we are invited to advertise
in Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire Building Control's Handbooks.
Before the demise of Wansdyke Council, we had been used as their
Checking Engineers for structural matters.

DCS Associates Consulting
Structural Engineers was started in 1985 by Keith Rayford who
has remained the Principal. Having gained experience initially
on site as a site engineer, he moved to Arups Consulting Engineers
in London, then onto Parsons Brown and Mander Raikes & Marshall
Consulting Engineers in Bristol. |
